Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Baird serves as Chief Financial Officer of Tectonic Advisors and Tectonic Holdings, overseeing the accounting and tax compliance, and is heavily involved in ensuring compliance with the group’s regulatory requirements. She coordinates the financial audit process, assists in evaluating and arranging financing alternatives, and conducts operational activity of Tectonic and certain of its affiliates. Ms. Baird has served Tectonic since its inception, initially through her role with an affiliate of Tectonic, Cain Watters & Associates, LLC. Ms. Baird has been employed with the group since 1997, when she joined Cain Watters’ tax department. She transitioned to a role serving the group as owner and president of a related entity which provided management, tax, and accounting support to Cain Watters and its affiliates, including Tectonic. Prior thereto, Ms. Baird was a tax associate with a large regional public accounting firm. In addition, Ms. Baird uses her proficiency to serve the 3to1 Foundation, which is dedicated to the financial education of young adults. Ms. Baird is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of University of Texas in Arlington.
